KARACHI, Sept 9: The Centralised Admission Committee of the Sindh education department on Saturday released the list for placement of 13,673 male candidates selected for admission to pre-engineering first year classes at government colleges and higher secondary schools.

An official of the Provincial Education Manager office said about 15,000 candidates had applied, out of which those having secured A-1 to C grades had been accommodated for admission, while the remaining applicants will be tried for Humanities and Commerce classes. The successful students have been placed at 54 educational institutions.

The opening marks for Adamjee Science College and D J Science College have been recorded as 845 and 784 respectively, which were 766 and 797 respectively last year. Admission list at Adamjee College closed at 729 marks, followed by DJ College (700) and Delhi College (688).

The maximum and minimum marks in the admission lists for different colleges are as follows:
