Workshop on CVT held

ISLAMABAD, Sept 8: The Medium Taxpayers’ Unit, Rawalpindi, on Friday organised a one-day workshop on collection of Capital Value Tax (CVT) especially on real estate businesses. The workshop was attended by the collecting agents representing public and private sector institutions.

Commissioner of Income Tax Medium Taxpayers’ Unit, Rawalpindi, Iqbal Muzaffar spoke on the basic objectives of the workshop so as to highlight the enhanced responsibilities of the collecting agents and also to facilitate them in difficulties faced in collecting the Capital Value Tax.

The commissioner promised to convey various procedural and administrative problems faced by the collecting agents to the Central Board of Revenue (CBR) for redressal.
