SHIKARPUR, Sept 6: Basheer Khan Qureshi, chairman of Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM), has said that the government is destabilising the political situation in Balochistan.

He also accused the rulers of creating panic in Balochistan and crushing the struggle of Baloch to get their rights usurped.

Speaking at a press conference here, he condemned the killing of Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti and termed it as an act against freedom and democratic values to get domination of Balochistan on gunpoint.

He said that the establishment wanted to keep control over all the natural resources and revenues for which army was used. He threatened that the people of Balochistan and Sindh would fight till restoration of their rights

He added that motive behind the killing of Nawab Bugti was to stop struggle of Baloch.

He condemned the attitude of the rulers by dishonouring the body of Nawab Bugti and disallowing the relatives of late Bugti to attend the funeral.

He urged the government to stop army operation in Balochistan and release all Baloch nationalists and other politicians.
