KARACHI, Sept 5: Six vessels carrying pulses, logs and containers are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where four ships, Iran Sattari, Ever Guide and CMA CGM Victoria, to unload and load containers, and Swat to offload crude oil were berthed after the departure of two.

The ships which departed included CMA CGM Victoria and Maersk Arkansas, while Ever Guide, Johar, Al-Ihsaa and Swat are due to sail out on Wednesday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where the total tonnage rose to 0.107m tons comprising 13,138 tons of export cargo including 1,755 tons of rice and 3,999 tons of cement and 93,571 tons of import cargo, which also included 2,626 tons of sugar.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: Hyundai Highway, Iran Tabatabaei, Y.M. Sun, with containers, Continent-4, with 9,982 tons of pulses and 483 logs, Xong Sheng, with general cargo and Harutoc, with steel and general cargo.
