Indian U-19 squad arrives

LAHORE, Sept 4: Led by captain Piyush Chawla, a 15-member Indian U-19 cricket squad with three officials arrived on Monday to play two four-dayers and four one-day matches till Sept 25.

Cheteshwar Pujara is the vice captain of the team.

Lalchand Rajput (coach), Muthu Kumar (physio) and C.J.J. Raju (manager) are the three officials of the team.

The tourists will start the tour with a four-day game at Pindi Stadium, Rawalpindi from Sept 7.

The second four-day match will be played at Arbab Niaz Stadium from Sept 12.

A spokesman of the PCB said no decision has yet be taken to shift the first match from Pindi to Abbottabad.

The one-day series begins with the first match at Qadhafi Stadium on Sept 19, the second at Sheikhupura Stadium on Sept 21 and last two matches again at the Qadhafi Stadium on Sept 23 and 24.

The team will return on Sept 25.

Pakistan had already announced a 16-member team for the two four-day games.

Indian squad:

Piyush Chawla (captain), Cheteshwar Pujara (vice-captain), Parviz Aziz, Tanmay Srivastava, Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, Sumit Sharma, Onkar Gurav, Uday Kaul, Shahbaz Nadeem, Sunil Raju, V Yo Mahesh, Abu Nachim, Ishant Sharma, Ishwar Chaudhary.
