Three killed, boy strangled in Multan

MULTAN, Sept 4: Three people, including two women, were killed in separate incidents here on Monday while a boy was strangled after sodomy. In Gulgasht police precincts, Tahira Bibi of Tibbi Nizam Kot Addu was found hanged at her in-laws’ house. The woman had married Naeem.

Her father Haji Ahmad told the police that Tahira’s sister-in-law Shahina, brother-in-law Salman and his wife Najma allegedly killed his daughter because Salman wanted to arrange the marriage of his brother Naeem with his sister-in-law.

According to her in-laws, Tahira committed suicide by hanging herself with a ceiling fan.

The body has been removed to the city morgue for autopsy. Further investigation is under way.

In another incident, Ejaz Ahmed shot dead his stepmother Shammo Mai at Jalalpur.

Shammo Mai of Shujaatwala was living with her parents after the death of her husband. She secretly contracted a second marriage with Ejaz’s father Allah Ditta on which he killed her.

Jalalpur police have registered a case against Ejaz Ahmed on the report of Shammo’s father Pir Bakhsh. Nasir Husain, 26, was electrocuted while draining sewerage water from the street at Aelampur Bosan.

Talib Husain was committing sodomy with Khalid when he saw some villagers approaching there and he strangled the boy.
