Lawyer picked up by ‘plainclothesmen’

By Our Correspondent

DERA GHAZI KHAN, Sept 4: Four unidentified men picked up an advocate when he was coming out from sessions court here on Monday. Reports said that advocate Syed Sabir Hussain Shah was taken away by men in civvies.

The district bar association president strongly condemned the abduction of the advocate and demanded his immediate recovery.

The Civil Lines SHO told reporters that the lawyer was wanted by the Gudu police (Sindh) in a kidnap for ransom case, which was registered in 2003 under sections 365, 364 and 324-A.

The SHO further said that it seemed that the Sindh police had picked up the lawyer.
