KARACHI, Sept 4: A memorandum for exchange of scientists between Pakistan and Egypt and to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the fields of research and education has been signed between the Karachi University’s International Centre for Chemical Sciences and the National Research Centre Dokki, Giza, Egypt.
The MoU was signed by the acting director of the ICCS, Prof Dr Mohammad Iqbal Choudhary, on behalf of the institute.
The agreement is aimed at accelerating the pace of progress in the areas of science and research by enhancing research coordination among the scientists of the countries. Both the parties will specifically focus on the fields of biotechnology, pharmacology, pharmacognosy, industrial chemistry, pharmaceutical and medicinal chemistry and drug discovery programmes. Under joint research projects, the two parties may invites experts from institutions for research.--APP
