KARACHI, Sept 4: A committee of college principals and other experts would soon identify colleges and their requirements for declaring them as model colleges. Instead of establishing new colleges, it has been decided that the existing colleges would be made more effective in term of educational facilities, teaching material, laboratories and faculty, and about 50 colleges in the province would be made model colleges, said provincial education manager (colleges) Dr Mohammad Ali Shaikh on Monday while speaking at a press conference arranged for declaration of first three placement lists pertaining to admissions to first year classes of computer science and home economics groups.
