ISLAMABAD, Sept 2: Election Commission Secretary Kanwar Mohammad Dilshad on Saturday directed the members of Senate and National and provincial assemblies to submit yearly statements of assets and liabilities of themselves, their spouses and dependants by Sept 30 to the commission.
By Oct 15, the chief election commissioner would notify the names of members who failed to file the statements within the specified period and order that they should cease to function till the documents were submitted, said a press release.—Online
