ISLAMABAD, Sept 2: Pakistan on Saturday condemned the terrorist attack in which a number of Pakistani pilgrims were killed in Iraq on Thursday. A foreign office spokesperson said Iraqi authorities had been contacted to ascertain the number of pilgrims killed in the attack.
Spokesperson Tasnim Aslam said the foreign ministry had instructed Pakistan’s Ambassador to Jordan to establish contact with the Iraqi authorities. President General Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz condoled the death of pilgrims.—APP
