MA, MSc classes in municipal college

TOBA TEK SINGH, Sept 2: The Punjab government has issued notification regarding start of MSc mathematics, physics, chemistry and MA economics and English classes from the current academic year in the Government Municipal Degree College here.

College principal Dr Arif Salim said on Saturday that Governor Khalid Maqbool had promised during his last visit here that master’s level classes would be started in the district.

IMRAN KHAN: Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaaf chief Imran Khan has said that Kohlu operation was a conspiracy against the solidarity of the country and the killing of Nawab Akbar Bugti has put the country in 1971-like situation.

He told newsmen here on Saturday that a movement would soon be launched to oust the government which has become a security risk.

STRIKE: Powerloom workers’ strike continued for the second successive day on Saturday here.

They are demanding raise in their wages.

A Powerloom Workers Association spokesman said that the strike would continue till the acceptance of their demand.
