MULTAN, Sept 2: The incidence of gastroenteritis which had dogged the citizens of Multan region during the peak summer months has now subsided. This was stated by Nishtar Hospital emergency ward director Dr Muhammad Fahim and Children Hospital Complex (CHC) medical superintendent Dr Nazar Abbas Gardezi here on Saturday.
Talking to this agency, they said gastro cases were decreasing with every passing day with the drop in temperature.
Meanwhile, the CHC was receiving only four to six gastro patients a day as compared to about 30 affected children in the past months.
Dr Fahim said, “No more gastroenteritis patients are being received from Cantt area now.” —APP
