Twin sisters drown
CHITRAL, Sept 2: Ten-year old twin sisters were drowned in the river in Shoghore village, some 40 kilometres from here, on Friday. Farzana and Chustdana, daughters of Abdul Hayat, were playing near the river bank when they slipped into the water.
Other children present on the site told their relatives that one of the twins slipped into the river and the other jumped into the water to rescue her, but drowned.
The bodies could not be recovered till last reports as the river was in high flood.
