KARACHI, Aug 31: Two young men were killed after being kidnapped by unknown persons, and their bodies were found in the limits of Gulberg police station early Thursday morning.

Police said Babar Ali and Mohammad Aslam, both friends and residents of Liaquatabad, borrowed a motorcycle for an outing, but they did not turn up.

SHO Gulberg said Babar was a garment factory worker and Aslam was associated with the work of artificial jewelry.

On Thursday morning, bodies of the two friends were found dumped in a ground near APWA College. The victims were shot in the head and chest, police said.

“We are trying to ascertain if the victims belonged to any political party or had any other affiliation”, the SHO said.
