ISLAMABAD, Aug 30: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz left here on Wednesday on a five-day four-nation visit to Norway, United Kingdom, Turkey and Lebanon. The prime minister in his whistle stop tour touching the four capitals will discuss with the leaders bilateral, economic and political ties and measures to further enhance relations in wide ranging areas.
Talking to newsmen prior to his departure here at the Chaklala Air Base, he said on the first leg he will visit Oslo to attend a meeting of the High-level Panel on United Nations System-wide coherence in the areas of development, humanitarian assistance and the environment.
Mr Aziz said it was an honour for Pakistan to be represented on this prestigious forum and be part of the UN reform.
On the sidelines, he will meet his Norwegian counterpart and discuss bilateral relations, economic ties trade and investment, security and international issues besides measures to expand ties.
Mr Aziz will also address the Pakistani community in Norway and said he will inform about the developments back home to the expatriate community.
