Trio excels in U-17 cricket

KARACHI, Aug 30: Tabish Nawab, Jibran Yousuf and Fahad Musheer excelled with the ball to help their respective teams win in the KCCA Under-17 Inter-zonal cricket tournament on Tuesday.

Off-spinner Tabish Nawab captured five for 38 as Zone-I Whites crush Zone-VI Blues by seven wickets at TMC Ground. At Asifabad Sports ground, slow left-armer Jibran Yousuf claimed six for 69 to help Zone-III Whites beat Zone-VIII Blues by four wickets.

Zone-II Blues defeated Zone-V Whites by 15 runs at Landhi Gymkhana Ground. Paceman Fahad Musheer grabbed five for 54 after scoring 32.
