Easy victory for Pakistan Academy

LAHORE, Aug 30: A century partnership between openers Nasir Jamshed and Khurram Manzoor guided Pakistan Academy to an easy seven-wicket win against Bangladesh Academy in the opening first match of the four-match one-day series at Jinnah Stadium, Sialkot on Wednesday.

Nasir hit a rapid 73 off 51 balls with six sixes and five fours while putting on 122 with Khurram, who hit a 91-ball 61 with five fours and two sixes.

Put in to bat, Bangladesh were all out for 177 in 47.3 overs with Zahrul Islam making a 47-ball 45.

Slow left-armer Abdur Rehman claimed three for 25.
