Security beefed up

LAHORE, Aug 29: The city police beefed up security following a bomb blast in Liberty Market on Tuesday. City Police chief Khwaja Khalid Farooq ordered deployment of extra force at all important markets, trade centers and bus stops and directed all SPOs and divisional SPs to monitor patrolling in their areas. He also constituted two teams headed by the SP CIA and SP Model Town (investigation) to investigate the incident.

Meanwhile, the police have released to the press the sketch of a man believed to have been involved in the blast. —Staff Reporter
