HYDERABAD, Aug 29: Hyderabad District Nazim Kanwar Naveed Jamil has directed the district health committee to bring about revolutionary changes in health facilities through constant and impartial monitoring.

Speaking at a meeting of the health committee at his secretariat here on Monday, he said that the working of government hospitals must surpass private hospitals.

He directed the health committee to pay surprise visits to all 63 hospitals and health centres of the district and submit reports.

He said that the excuse of financial constraints would not be accepted for poor performance of any health facility.

He said that the people associated with medical profession were supposed to be more responsible and sincere in service of ailing community but unfortunately some unscrupulous persons had brought a bad name to this noble profession.
