By Our Sports Correspondent

LAHORE, Aug 28: The first match between Pakistan and Bangladesh cricket academies which was to be played at Sheikhupura Stadium on Tuesday has been cancelled due to bad condition of the pitch as a result of torrential rains since Sunday.

Director of National Cricket Academy Mudassar Nazar explained that the cancelled match would now be played in Sialkot on Thursday after playing the first on Wednesday.

He said both teams would leave for Sialkot on Tuesday.

According to reports, rain is expected in Sialkot also.

"Hopefully the weather will improve on Tuesday and Wednesday," Mudassar remarked.
