Relief goods send for rain victims

SUKKUR, Aug 28: District Nazim Syed Nasir Hussain Shah sent relief goods and medicines worth Rs250,000 for rain-affected people of the Mirpurkhas district as a goodwill gesture, according to a press statement issued here on Monday.

He assured that the district government would provide all possible assistance to the victims to rehabilitate them on a permanent basis.

He also advised the philanthropists and well-to-do people to come forward and help their brothers in this hour of trial.

Teams of five doctors with paramedical staff and an ambulance have also been sent to Mirpurkhas for medical help.

The Nadra director-general, Sukkur, in a press release said on Monday.
