Two security men injured in clash

QUETTA, Aug 26: At least two security personnel were injured in skirmishes between security forces and armed tribesmen in the Kahan area of Kharmord on Saturday. Gunmen escaped after security forces returned fire. No arrest was reported.

In another development, more than 530 Bugtis from different areas have returned to their native villages in Dera Bugti, Sui and Pirkoh areas.

Earlier, the Bugtis tribes had migrated to different places because of the untoward situation in the area.

AFGHANS ARRESTED: Frontier Constabulary troops have arrested five Afghan nationals under the Foreign Act besides foiling an attempt to smuggle drugs near Chaman.

The five Afghans were arrested for illegally entering Pakistan. They were handed over to the FIA authorities.—Online
