Court order
QUETTA, Aug 25: Chief Justice of Balochistan High Court Justice Amanullah Khan Yasinzai here on Friday ordered production of prisoner Abdul Qadir in the court on Sept 8. The man is in jail for cutting the nose and ears of his wife. Earlier, the high court had ordered the convict to pay Rs270,493 as compensation to the petitioner, his former wife Nasira alias Peekah, but he had not complied with the order. He had then been sent to the Quetta district jail.—APP
