KARACHI, Aug 25: The High Court of Sindh on Friday sought report from the KBCA officials concerned about a disputed structure built on plot 345, Street-7, C-Road, Bihar Colony, Lyari Town.

The division bench of Sindh High Court comprising Justice Anwer Zaheer Jamali and Justice Zawar Hussain Jaffery was hearing the constitution petition filed against the illegal structure.

The consul for petitioners Mohammad Imran Shahzad and Haji Abdul Manan submitted that the controller and deputy controller of the KBCA were required to raze illegal structures under Section 7-A of the KBC Ordinance 1979.

The court had directed the officials to visit the site of the disputed building and submit their report regarding the approval of building plan, if any, and the presence of the construction at the site.—APP
