Two robbers held after shootout

SHEIKHUPURA, Aug 23: The Khanqah Dogran and patrol police teams claimed on Wednesday to have arrested two robbers who were looting cash and valuables from the passengers on the Sargodha Road.

Receiving information, the police reached the spot and opened fire on the robbers who retaliated. One of the robbers, Inayat suffered injuries and was arrested. Another robber Asif too was held while their accomplice made good his escape.

ABDUCTED: A girl was allegedly abducted by two vagabonds in the city area on the Tariq Road on Wednesday.
