KARACHI, Aug 23: Five ships carrying chemicals, containers and to load rice are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, accoding to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where seven ships, Stove Tradition to unload coal, Raban-1 to offload sugar, Lynx and Sea Breeze to offload and load general cargo, APL Dalian, Kota Permai and Acx Jasnine to unload and load containers were berthed.

Four vessels, Alexa, Christos, Pegasus Ace and Lynx departed, while APL Dalian, Acx Captain, Kota Permai, Al-Mariyah and Serife are due to sail out on Thursday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 72,331 tons comprising 15,188 tons of export cargo and 57,143 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following vessels are due on Thursday: Bow Sea, with chemicals, Kota Merdesa, Eric G. Gibson and Global Progress, with containers and Windsor Star, to load rice.
