LARKANA, Aug 21: Three people were killed in the Warah police area on Monday in a clash between two groups. Some armed men stormed a village comprising katcha houses near Lundi Shakh, some 20 kilometers off Warah and killed Ghaffar Gaibani.

The deceased was a guest in the village. Later, rival groups traded firing.

As a result, two people from the other side were killed.

They were identified as Hussain Ali Cholyani and Irshad Ali Cholyani.

The enmity between the groups is said to have been caused by alleged kidnapping of a woman about six months back by Sanwal.

PPP: Larkana PPP on Monday took out a procession in protest against irregular house-census and defective preparation of voter lists.

Khair Mohammed Shaikh, vice president of the PPP Larkana district, led the procession that originated from its main office in the Kennedy Market.
