India’s turn to run Thar Express

By Our Correspondent

HYDERABAD, Aug 17: India will run a train on the Khokhrapar-Munabao route for the next six months starting Friday.

Under a bilateral agreement, India and Pakistan will take turns to run the train — called Thar Express by Islamabad and Thar-Link Express by New Delhi – for six months.

The rail link was resumed on Feb 18 after a gap of about 40 years. Pakistan’s turn to run the train ended on Aug 11.
