KARACHI, Aug 17: Four ships carrying containers and general cargo are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where three ships, Hyundai Future, Y.M. Star and Corin Thaikos to unload and load containers were berthed after the departure of six.The ships, which departed included APL Jabel Ali, Gulf Bridge, Johar, Ikan Selar, Golden Sky and Oriental Kerria, while Pearl of Sharjah, Hyundai Future, Oel Victory, Kama Bhum, Ever Govern and Y.M. Star are due to sail out on Friday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 70,858 tons comprising 14,366 tons of export cargo and 56,492 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Friday: Calvin P. Titus, Iran Kordestan, Iran Tabatabaei, with containers and Noshiro-3, with general cargo.
