ISLAMABAD, Aug 16: The opposition in Senate on Wednesday took notice of a stranger wandering about in the house at 10:15am, at the time the house was supposed to have already gone into session.
As the house started its proceedings, Leader of the Opposition in Senate Mian Raza Rabbani pointed out that a stranger’s presence in the house at a time when the house was about to go into session was against the rules of the house and it should stop.
Chairman Muhammadmian Soomro, who till then had been informed that the man belonged to an intelligence agency, promised an inquiry. Mr Rabbani said he was told that the man had come to take the order of the day.
