Afzal-Mazhar liftbridge title
KARACHI, Aug 15: Competing from East-West direction, Afzal Shaikh and Mazhar clinched the Independence Day bridge championship by mustering 62.31 per cent score at Aslam Memorial Bridge Hall, National Stadium on Monday.
Iqbal Hasan-Salman Masood won second spot with 57.83 per cent score while Anwer Gheewala-Dr Sarfraz Ahmed grabbed third position with 57.16 per cent score.
Rashid Jafer and Hasan Askari performed superbly to win the title for North-South direction with score of 61.86 per cent.—APP
