KARACHI: CAP extends date

Published August 16, 2006

KARACHI, Aug 15: The provincial education manager (colleges) and chairman of the Centralised Admission Committee, Dr Mohammad Ali Shaikh, on the request of parents and teachers on Tuesday extended the date for submission of placement forms under CAP till Aug 26 due to delay in the issuance of marks sheets by the Board of Secondary Education, Karachi (BSEK).

According to a press release issued here, the date for submission of placement forms was extended after BSEK announced issuance of marks sheets to schools from Aug 15 to 19, which will result in delay in the issuance of marks sheets to students for another 2-3 days.

However, it was clarified that no further extension in submission of application forms would be granted. Parents and teachers were advised to contact CAP helpline on phone numbers 4313551 and 4313552 or email at info@cap.edu.pk in case of any difficulty.—PPI
