KARACHI, Aug 15: Four ships carrying containers and coal are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was active where a dozen ships were berthed during the last two days. They are: Yang Jiang He, Latgalo, Pearl of Sharjah, Athloforos, Emeral Sea, Jade Trader, Rising One, CMS CGM Simba, Conti Express, Wah Hai-320, Norasia Alps and Johar.
Sailing was also active as over a dozen vessels, including Orient Independence, Thor Captain, Jade Trader, Yang Jiang He, Wan hai-303, Kota Perkasa, Emerlad Sea, Maersk Arkansas, An Yue Jiang, Cosmic Challenger, Rising One, Conti Express and Athlofors, departed, while Jha is due to sail out on Wednesday.
A total tonnage of 0.165m tons comprising 34,698 tons of export cargo, including 1,697 tons of rice and 1,209 tons of cement and 0.130m tons of import tonnage, was handled.
The following ships are due on Wednesday: Oel Vicoty, Hyundai Future, Corin Thaikos, with containers and Serife, with coal.
