UN probe into Israeli attacks demanded
GENEVA, Aug 11: Muslim nations tabled a draft resolution at the UN Human Rights Council on Friday calling for an urgent ‘high-level’ commission of inquiry into ‘systematic’ Israeli attacks on civilians in Lebanon.
The 47-member human rights forum was likely to vote on the draft, which can still be modified.—APP/AFP
