KARACHI, Aug 11: Sindh ‘A’ chalked up three consecutive victories in the boys’ under-18 category to move ahead in the 13th National Juniors Table Tennis Championship which is currently in progress at Education Board Hall, Abbottabad.
According to details available here, Sindh ‘A’ routed Balochistan ‘B’ 3-0, followed by similar triumphs against NWFP ‘C’ and Azad Jammu Kashmir in Group ‘A’.
In Group ‘B’, Punjab ‘A’ and Railways conjured up two wins apiece. The former got the better of Islamabad and NWFP ‘B’ by 3-0 margin while the latter squeezed past Balochistan ‘A’ and NWFP ‘B’ 3-0.
The 12 teams have drawn in two groups:
Group ‘A’: Sindh ‘A’, Punjab ‘B’, NWFP ‘A’, Balochistan ‘B’, NWFP ‘C’, Azad Jammu Kashmir.
Nine teams-two each from four provinces and one from Islamabad are competing in the girls’ under-18 competition.In addition, six teams of boys and four of girls are featuring in the cadet category.
