PCB declines ADCA invitation

By Our Sports Correspondent

LAHORE, Aug 11: Pakistan has decided not to take part in a triangular tournament proposed by Abu Dhabi Cricket Association, also involving Sri Lanka and South Africa.

The tournament was to be held in the last week of September.

Informed sources told Dawn that Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) took the decision mainly to avoid injury problems before the ICC Champions Trophy to be held in India in Oct-Nov this year.
