KARACHI, Aug 11: The female students of Karachi School of Art bagged all the top three positions for the diploma in the fine arts.

The Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE) announced the result of the annual examination 2005 here on Friday.

Students from the four art schools in Karachi appeared in the examination.

Kanwal Zaidi stood first, followed by Sana Farooq and Aisha Israr who secured second and third positions respectively.

In commercial art (textile design) Sarah David secured first position followed by Bazgha Tul Sultana and Syed Noman Ahmed Alvi who clined second and third positions respetively.

In commercial art (graphic design), Sehrish Fatima Ansari, Azeem Ehtisham Alvi and Sumera Sami secured first, second and third positions, respectivley.—APP
