PTCL officials convicted
Quetta, Aug 10: The Accountability Court Quetta has convicted three employees of the Pakistan Telecommunications Ltd (PTCL) Turbat for various terms and fine in corruption cases.
Judge Chaudhary Mohammad Ashraf on Thursday punished Mahmoodul Hasan, Tariq Mahmood and Shahid Reza for six years imprisonment each and fined Mr Reza eight million, Mr Hasan 6.5 million and Mr Tariq 1.1 million rupees, respectively.
They were charged by National Accountability Bureau for making fake bills causing a loss of 35 million rupees to the national exchequer.—APP
