KARACHI: MMA to resist expulsion of foreign students
KARACHI, Aug 10: The Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA) on Thursday announced to resist any move by the government to expel foreign students of local religious seminaries, saying the government is taking actions on US directives.
In a joint statement, MMA MNAs Mohammad Hussain Mehnti, Abdul Sattar Afghani and Laiq Khan said foreign students were getting religious education at local seminaries for the last many years but present military regime was expelling them to honour its commitments with its foreign masters.—PPI
