Golf trials on 20th

KARACHI, Aug 9: The first phase of open trials to select a three-member Pakistan team for the upcoming biennial World Amateur Golf Team Championship will commence at the Karachi Golf Club from Aug 20.

The three-day phase will be followed by a second and final round of selection to be held at Arabian Sea Country Club (ASCC) from Aug 24 to 26.

The World Championship is being held at South Africa in October. The Pakistan Golf Federation (PGF) selection committee headed by Rai Azizullah comprise Lt. Col Zulfiqar Rana, Asad I. A. Khan, Mahmood Aziz and PGF secretary Taimur Hasan.
