KARACHI, Aug 9: The services and general administration department on Wednesday notified postings of regional education managers (Colleges) for five regions Karachi, Hyderabad, Larkana, Mirpurkhas and Sukkur as well as 15 education managers in the office of the provincial education manager (colleges) and regional education managers of various regions.
Subsequent to transfer of the control of the colleges from city government to the provincial government, the new college setup is headed by the Provincial Education Manager. In this regard, Dr Mohammad Ali Shaikh, an officer of BS-20, has already been notified as PEM (Colleges) Sindh.
The five regional education managers as notified are: Associate Professor Munawwar Shafique Khan as Regional Education Manager (Colleges) Karachi, Associate Professor Shahnawaz Memon as REM Larkana, Associate Professor Syed Muhammad Sabir as REM Hyderabad, Associate Professor Haji Khan Rahu as B-19 REM Mirpurkhas, and Associate Professor Shahida Pirzada as REM (Colleges) Sukkur.
In addition to REMs, 15 Education Managers in B-19 have also been notified to look after the subjects of human resources, finance and inspection of the colleges in their respective jurisdiction.
In PEM Office, Associate Professor Arshad Jamal has been posted as Education Manager (Inspection), Associate Professor Muhammad Asghar Khan as EM (Human Resources) and Associate Professor Nuzhat William has been posted as EM (Finance).—PPI
