Man falls prey to rivalry

KASUR, Aug 8: A man was killed by his rivals in Der Sial village on Tuesday morning. Farzand Ali was coming out of a mosque after saying Fajr prayers when his rivals opened fire on him, killing him on the spot. Police have registered a case against Ahmad Din, etc.

KIDNAP: A man was kidnapped from his house at gunpoint from Ali Ahmad Shah Colony on Tuesday.

Shahida Kiran, the wife of victim Matloob Ahmad told police that her husband was taking rest at home in his room when Ijaz and his accomplices called him out.

They kidnapped him and demanded later demanded Rs100,000 which the accused claimed to have lent the victim a few months ago.

Police are investigating without a clue to the victim.
