2000 cusecs Manchhar water released into Indus
DADU, Aug 8: The Sindh irrigation department on Tuesday released 2000 cusecs water from the Manchhar Lake into the Indus River through the Aral tail canal. On Monday, about 1200 cusecs water from the lake was released into the Indus River. The step was taken on the decision of the Manchhar Lake water release committee. Irrigation officials said that that level of the lake was increasing which was recorded at 111-RL on Tuesday.
