Four committees comprising elected representatives, army and police personnel and revenue officers were constituted.

The committees will remain present in Ghorabari, Jati, Kharochhan and Keti Bundar talukas for round-the-clock monitoring of the flood and rain situation.

The committees will be in constant coordination of the district administration. Special teams would also coordinate with the health staff and medicine, ASVs and ambulances would be ready to meet any eventuality.

The administration will also install 20 phone connections on relevant sites and keep available nine buses ready for evacuation people from the katcha area.
