Robbers shoot two on resistance

SIALKOT, Aug 7: Robbers killed two people on putting up resistance in separate incidents on Monday. Three robbers intercepted landlord Tanvir Ahmad in Maraakiwal. As he resisted their bid, the robbers opened fire, killing him on the spot. They fled from the scene firing shots in the air.

Three gunmen stormed into the house of landlord Ghulam Rasool in Koobey Chak on Sunday night. The robbers held the family at gunpoint and started collecting valuables. They thrashed Ghulam Rasool when he put up resistance and later strangulated him. Police have registered separate cases, with no arrest.
