KOHAT, Aug 7: Two prisoners escaped from the district jail while another was arrested by security guards after a chase on Monday. The deputy superintendent of the prison said the three prisoners were on routine fatigue duty in the lawn of the jail when one of them put chilli powder in the eyes of a guard and they fled towards nearby mountains. The convicts had been sentenced for minor offences.—Correspondent
