By Our Sports Correspondent

LAHORE, July 6: The Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) will help Pakistan improve its sports infrastructure and standard of coaches.

This was disclosed by Pakistan Olympic Association president Syed Arif Hasan after meeting the OCA director general Hussain Al Musallam on Saturday.

The president explained that he had pointed out some of the grey areas of Pakistan sports, foremost of which were infrastructure as well as qualified and skilled coaches.

He added that POA was also expecting similar help from the International Olympic Association (IOC) and if both (IOC and OCA) helped Pakistan, the sports scenario would change completely in the country.

Hussain Al Musallam, agreed that he had a very fruitful meeting with the POA president and the OCA would like to help Pakistan improve the standard of sports in the country.
