Zaka named captain of deaf team


LAHORE, Aug 1: Zaka Ahmed Qureshi will lead a 16-member Pakistan deaf cricket team which leaves for England on Friday.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) selected the team, according to a press release of the Pakistan Deaf Cricket Association on Tuesday.

Pakistan will play three one-day matches, two Tests, and one Twenty20 match during the tour.

Squad: Zaka Ahmed Qureshi (captain), Shahzad Mirza (vice-captain), Kamran Tariq, Balal Aslam, Nabeel Anjum, Adnan Ghani, Mohammad Hasan, Usman Gohar, Mohammad Iqbal, Naseer Ahmed Butt, Mohammad Shakeel, Naeem Beg, Mohammad Fayyaz, Naveed Abbas, Qaiser Iqbal, Nadeem Ahmed.

Coach/manager: Nadeem Zafar Gondal.
