MPA leaves Kasuri camp

KASUR, Aug 1: As the general elections are due next year, political wrangling has also started. PML MPA Malik Ahmed Khan who was in the Khursheed Kasuri camp during the last election parted ways and addressed a press conference on Tuesday.

He claimed that Kasuri had won NA-140 mainly due to his and Hassan Akhtar Moakal’s backing. He claimed that money given by President Musharraf for the development projects of Kasur had been embezzled by the minister and some of his aides.

The MPA claimed that the chief minister had asked him to monitor all provincial departments in the district.

LOOTED: Thieves deprived a deputy district attorney of his cash, gold ornaments and other valuables here on Tuesday at officers colony. Ahmed Maqbool was in Karachi with his family when unknown thieves broke into his house and took away cash, gold and valuables, including TV and cell phones.
